We love New York New York. Actually, the only casino we have stayed in. our stays are around 6-10 times over the years. I love the feel of the casino and the village. I hope you never change that. COVID put a real damper on traveling for us.
We racked up so many MLIFE points in 2018-2019 that I hope we did not lose.
We are so hoping to stay at NY NY in 2023. The only Casino for us!!

While the room will be remodeled, the bathroom looks like the same bathroom I had in July 2022. This place is so in need of a remodel; my room stunk of old cigarettes and mold.

Favorite atmosphere of all MGM properties in vegas. Needed room upgrades bad. Hope the plan is to replace the awful beds. Also these bathrooms seem like the candidates for removing the dinky bathtubs for large walk in showers instead of a place like Bellagio, but what do I know. Looking forward to the facelift as we stay at least once a year in this resort.

The virtual tour does not look like the pictures. There is no exposed brick wallpaper and no wood laminate. It looks like a regular clean airport hotel, but with an “artsy” accent wallpaper. I hope they include the exposed brick wallpaper and no wood laminate in all of the rooms, that is what really gives it an NYC touch. If not, I hope they are charging airport prices for these rooms, but we all know that is unlikely.

I hate the modern arcade in America. Just give me Ms. PacMan, Galaga and Donkey Kong and leave me alone for a few hours. Kids these days play games to get tickets to use on crap they don’t need. Can’t you just play a game to have some fun? Remove soap box now.

We have always loved the fact that the resort is the right size, a little bit of everything, love the food choices and always felt safe wondering the property. PLEASE keep it as an adult theme and DONT start playing with ideas of being kid friendly. LV is for adults and once the kids start coming in, you start seeing more problems. PLEASE KEEP the village theme. Room upgrade is good in coming and unfortunately we will miss a chance to get a new room as we are coming out end of Sept.

Yup. You load $$$ onto the card and then tap to play. If there’s a ticket payout, it goes on your card, which you can then take over to redeem into stuffed animals or whatever. Basically like slot machines, if your paper payout ticket instead got loaded onto your player’s card. Pretty sure the bathrooms look untouched except for a new cheap piece of art.

But I am glad to see the rooms going for something that (somewhat) is on theme. Seems like they are aiming for similar aesthetic/demographic as The Linq.
