My favorite was the Stardust lounge in the early 1970’s. They had a show called “Bare Touch of Vegas,” free-for-one-drink with live musicians, dancers, comics, and specialty acts. It was almost up to the level of “X” or “Midnight Fantasy.” Many other strip resorts had similar lounge shows. The corporate bean counters fixed that.
