I go to Vegas 4 times a year and probably follow Vegas news more closely than I do my own city’s; If I’ve never heard of half of the 47,003 shows that closed this year, how can the resorts expect the casual Vegas tourist to know about them?

Frankly I feel like the culling of all these shows this year is long overdue and clears the plate for (hopefully) fewer, but better offerings.
