A journey through the forest with the co-operation of the Kerala Forest Department and under the leadership of the officials. A Night camp at a forest station. A rare opportunity for a study of the wild animals, birds and plants. It is also a chance to get an awareness about the work of the forest officials and the science of managing forests. A tour for two days. Starts from each district headquarters early in the morning. Night camp in the forest and variety entertainments. Trekking again the next day. Leaving the Forest at noon. Arrives at the district headquarters in the evening. The tour on a Saturday and a Sunday consecutively in October.
